Script Kiddy —
Script kiddies refer to unskilled hackers who use scripts and programs developed by others, usually for malicious purposes. The methods employed by script kiddies usually lack sophistication or even basic cybersecurity knowledge, resulting in substantial digital footprints that make identifying the culprit pretty easy.
Script kiddy attacks are largely unfocused and random, demonstrating little understanding of the tools they employ or what kind of damage they may cause. And their motivations are similarly unsophisticated. Script kiddies tend to be driven by straightforward, personal goals such as seeking attention, mucking around, or just causing havoc for the sake of it.
